Purls of Peace works with programs in Wichita and across the state of Kansas that support survivors of domestic abuse and sexual assault. We teach small-group classes in partnership with those organizations that serve survivors, at no cost to programs or participants. We have worked with the Wichita Area Sexual Assault Center and the Wichita Family Crisis Center, among others.
We are also grateful to Coast to Coast Yarn Company in Wichita for their support – and for connecting us together!

Donations
Our Purls of Peace donation bin is located at 1632 S Maize Road (just south of Kellogg). The red-brick office houses the Mid-America Ag Network, KGSO, KQAM radio stations. Donations can be made during office hours of 8-5, M-F.
We are currently accepting:
- Size 8 circular needles (16″ preferred)
- 100% natural-fiber yarn in worsted, DK or sport weights
- Notions such as retractable tape measures and scissors
We also gratefully accept funds to purchase supplies and other necessities for our classes. Purls of Peace is a 501c3 tax exempt non-profit organization and 100% of the funds raised are used for our students.
